about Fiona

FIona House is a Kahuna Bodyworker, Arvigo Maya Abdominal Therapist, EMF Balancing Practitioner, Remedial Therapist and Pregnancy Massage Professional. Fiona has studied in Australia, the UK, USA and Belize under the preeminent practitioners: Ki’a’i Ho’okahi Weber, a direct student of Kahu Abraham Kawai’i, the last traditional Hawaiian Kahuna; Miss Beatrice Waight, a traditional Maya midwife, healer and herbalist; Peggy Phoenix Dubro, founder of EMF Balancing Technique®, Pauline Venning; recognized leading Polarity Therapy teacher and Patricia Farnsworth; recognized Cranio Sacral and Myofascial Release teacher and leader in Australia.

Fiona’s journey started during personal life change when she discovered through her own experience that bodywork supports people going through stress, transition and big life changes.  Since then she has dedicated her life to her own growth and how to support that of others. In 2001 Fiona began working with various bodywork modalities to guide and aid people through their journey of life.

Her interest began with The EMF Balancing Technique and massage, and continued with Kahuna Bodywork since 2004. She also offers support in women’s health issues with the Arvigo Techniques of Mayan Abdominal Therapy and fertility, pregnancy and post natal massage.  Fiona believes that continuity of care for women going through the partum period is essential to the conception, health and well being of both mother and child. During 2013 Fiona completed her Certificate 4 in Doula Services to extend this bodywork care and support to women during the birth of their baby.

Each client presents their own unique needs so Fiona’s approach is to bring to bear the techniques that will help each person unlock their patterns and reconnect to their own source of energy.

Fiona thoroughly enjoys sharing and spreading her work to people in need. As well as her own practices in Adelaide she has also worked in London and Thailand.

She is available for consultation in the Rainbow Tree Therapy Room, for more details contact Fiona on 0416 473 163.
